Sycamore have started a new book, which they seem to be thoroughly enjoying! Grimm Tales by Philip Pullman. This book contains a range of traditional fairytales, however Pullman has added his own gruesome twists and turns into these tales. The children have really enjoyed these.

This week we have focused on making their own Grimm Tales based on a traditional tale. They have written some lovely stories and are looking forward to finishing these. As a class, we have focused on including a range of punctuation and figurative language. We will hopefully have a chance of sharing our stories with other pupils in the school.
