Over-Subscription Criteria

At Churchill, our published admissions number is 60. This means we can accept up to 60 children in each year group.

If the school is over-subscribed, the following criteria will be applied in the order listed to determine which pupils can be offered a place, in accordance with the Local Education Authority Admission Arrangements:

1. Children in the care of Kent County Council
2. Children who have older siblings in the school at the time of admission
3. Nearness of children's home to the school.

Before the application of oversubscription criteria, children with a statement of special educational need or Education, Health and Care Plan which names the school will be admitted. As a result of this, the published admissions number will be reduced accordingly.
